Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

This is an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice.
This structure allows for more time, flexibility, and personalized care.

Documentation can be provided for patients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.

What are your fees?

Fees are straightforward and paid at the time of service:

• Initial evaluation: $450
• 30-min follow-up: $200
• 60-min follow-up: $260

How soon will I hear back after submitting the questionnaire?

You can typically expect a personal response from Dr. Williams within 1–2 business days.

Do I have to come in person?

Yes. Initial evaluations are always conducted in-person to allow for a more thorough and accurate assessment.

Follow-up visits may be in-office or via secure video for Georgia residents.

How long is the first appointment?

Initial evaluations are comprehensive (up to 90 minutes).
This is your time to share your full story. Not a rushed checkbox exercise.

Follow up visits are 30 or 60 minutes depending on clinical needs.

Do you offer therapy, or only medication management?

Both. Some patients are seen for medication management only, while others benefit from a combined approach that includes psychotherapy.

Can you coordinate with my current therapist?

Yes. If you already have a therapist, care can be coordinated to ensure alignment and continuity.

What if I'm not sure this is the right fit?

That's completely fine. The initial step is simply a way to explore whether working together makes sense. There is no obligation to proceed.

Is this practice appropriate for urgent or emergency concerns?

No. This practice is not equipped for emergency care.

If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Do you complete disability or FMLA forms?

No. This practice does not complete disability evaluations/forms, FMLA paperwork, or Social Security Disability forms for new patients. Requests of this kind are considered on a case-by-case basis for established patients only.

Do you prescribe controlled substances at the first appointment?

No. Controlled substances are not prescribed at an initial evaluation. New patient visits focus on a thorough assessment before any treatment decisions are made.

Do you see children or adolescents?

No. This practice serves adults only (18 and older).
